 Classes 101 to 112 will be judged in Ring 1 at 10.30 am. (approx.)

CLASS 104            The Coolgreen Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the Best R.I.D. or A.I.D.

 mare with foal at foot by a Registered Irish Draught Sire. Points to be divided equally

CLASS 105            The Celtic Ross Hotel Irish Draught Foal Qualifier open to all foals (Colt/Filly) eligible for R.I.D. status.  Dam’s passport to be produced at qualifying round and at final. There will be separate class for Colt and Filly at final at Bantry Show on Sept. 6th.  One foal may qualify.                   Entry Fee  €10;  to final  €20

CLASS 108            The Co. Clare Show – FBD All Ireland Brood Mare Championship Qualifier
1.  All mares must be entered in the Irish Horse Register.      2.  Confined to all mares with foal at foot, by a sire on list of approved stallions, published by the Dept. of Agriculture and the Dept. of Agriculture Northern Ireland, or a thoroughbred sire registered in the Weatherby’s General Stud Book.   3.  The mare’s passport will be inspected before judging at qualifier and final.  4.  Two to qualify for final at Ennis Show, Sunday 30th August.

The Champion Brood Mare, open to 1st & 2nd prize winners, will be awarded €75 and The Martin Higgins Perpetual

CLASS 118            Limerick Lady Championship Qualifier
for 2year old non-thoroughbred fillies, suitable for producing hunters, show-jumpers & eventers. They must have been registered as foals with the I.H.B. and must be by an approved (a) thoroughbred stallion or (b) registered I.D. stallion or (c) Irish sport horse stallion, provided that such stallions are of thoroughbred R.I.D. cross. Their dams must also be by stallions as above and registered with the I.H.B. Passports must be available for inspection. Fillies must also be entered in some other class.

CLASS 127            Open Lead Rein Class for ponies, mares or geldings, 4 yrs. old and

over, not exceeding 123cms., suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained

their 7th birthday on 1st January. Riders in this class may not compete in any other class at

the same show on the same day with the exception of any other Lead Rein Class and the

1st Year First Ridden.1st Prize €75,  2nd Prize €50, 3rd Prize €25.

rider may not compete in any Intermediate class at the same show on the same day.

CLASS 136            Show Hunter Championship  The Peadar Clohessy Trophy will be awarded to the Champion Pony from classes 132 – 134

CLASS 137            Open Intermediate Show Hunter Type, for mares or geldings, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148 cms and not exceeding 158 cms.  Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday on 1st of January of current year.  The same combination of pony and rider may not compete in any other class at the same show on the same day, with the exception of other intermediate classes.  1st Prize €75, 2nd Prize €50, 3rd Prize €25                                              Entry Fee €8
