Class 385 The
Irish Shows Association and Moate Show Society present The Chocolate Cook of
the Year, sponsored by Moate
Agricultural Show. Each exhibitor will bake/make 3 items: (A) Decorate a
chocolate Victoria sandwich cake; (B) 6 chocolate butterfly cakes; (C) 6
chocolate chip oatie biscuits. Items to be displayed as one exhibit on a
base of 2ft. x 2ft. approx. Points will be awarded for texture, taste and
festive presentation suitable for afternoon tea Competition is open to
amateurs, male or female, One tray to qualify per exhibitor. All items to
be home made by exhibitor. Two trays may qualify for final at Moate Show on
Saturday, 22nd August. Entry Fee €4, free to final due
to competition not being held last year
